Jacquelin Chong and Deep Ng reunite in new movie
27 Oct – Ten years after their breakup, Jacquelin Chong and ex-boyfriend Deep Ng are finally reunited in the upcoming new movie, "Lui Yip Oi Hup".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared alongside the actor at the launching ceremony on 25 October, stated that this is the first time that the two of them are collaborating since the breakup.
Unfortunately, the two have no scenes together.
"We're still friends," said Jacquelin, "I have no problem working with him again in future films if there is any possibility."
When mentioned that Jacquelin is already married and that he should follow suit, Deep stated that he is still too busy working and will not think about it for now. The actress married her Taiwanese husband Brian Yan last March.
Asked if she would urge him to get married, the actress responded, "No, I don't meddle in other people's personal lives. Let him decide on his affairs. He has matured a lot now that we have met again."
It is noted that Jacquelin and Deep had dated for three years since 2008, with the romance ended in 2011. At the time, tabloids alleged that the breakup was caused by Deep's lack of income and drug addiction.
