Covid-19: 12 more clusters found in Klang Valley, Johor, Sabah, Melaka, Kelantan and Perak

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15 ― Another 12 Covid-19 clusters have been identified in the country involving the Klang Valley region, Johor, Sabah, Melaka, Kelantan and Perak.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) said there were now 284 active clusters including 85 that have seen additional cases in the past 24 hours.

“The clusters that reported the highest number of new cases were Bukit Pasir Cluster (171 cases), Tapak Bina Damai Cluster (130 cases), and Beringin Cluster (112 cases),” Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham said in a statement today.

In Selangor, a cluster dubbed Jalan Telok Gong was found in a factory and workers' dormitories in Port Klang, with 108 cases detected so far.

In Johor, the Kampung Perani and Jalan Kluang clusters both havehas 18 cases each whic the Persiaran Selatan Cluster has 61.

For Sabah, the Ladang Baturong clustered as 54 cases and the Ladang Matamba cluster has 20.

Dr Noor Hisham added that four clusters — Bah Medan, Jalan Dalam, Nibong and Dermaga — ended today.
